EPC Executive
Mr. Zhu holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Budapest University of Economics Science, Hungary. He has also been appointed as an external supervisor for professional master’s degree postgraduate students at Nanjing Forestry University. Mr. Zhu currently serves as Chairman of Woodlands Group and concurrently holds directorships in several affiliated companies. With over 20 years of deep involvement in the timber supply chain industry, he has extensive experience across forest management, timber processing, international timber trade, and logistics. In 2019, he entered into a joint venture with a Hong Kong Main Board–listed company (0723.HK) to operate a European timber supply chain business, contributing to the company’s successful resumption of trading in 2021. Through this cooperation, he gained substantial experience in the operational and managerial aspects of a listed company.
Julian Zhu contributes engineering and execution insight to SP1’s investment oversight function. His background in EPC management and project delivery enables him to assess remediation feasibility, execution timelines, and operational scalability. Unlike financial-focused IC members, Mr. Zhu provides engineering realism to capital approval discussions.
